Uber has acquired a 15-person artificial intelligence startup to boost its efforts toward self-driving cars, according to a report by the Wall Street Journal. The New York-based startup, Geometric Intelligence, will move to San Francisco and become a new division of Uber called Uber AI Labs, the Journal reports.
