Nearly 200 8th grade students at Vincent Middle School gathered outside Wednesday, each carrying a red balloon with personal message attached in honor of their teacher Jamie Brown, who was killed in an automobile accident last Thursday. Brown taught 7th and 8th grade English at the school and was remembered for her personality and humor, as well as her love for her students.
