Stories Related to Volunteer Sought To Fill Health Council Vacancy

The Clark County Board of Health is seeking a local social or human services agency representative to fill a vacancy on the Public Health Advisory Council. The council, which advises county councilors in their capacity as the Board of Health, identifies needs and makes recommendations to enhance community health. Among the council’s current priorities are access to care, health inequalities, obesity, a sustainable food system and support for healthy children. The council meets from 6 to 8 p.m.
