Authorities have identified an Augusta man who was shot Wednesday morning in Richmond County. While in the parking lot of Good Hope Baptist Church at 710 E. Cedar St., David James Towns, 39, was shot three times in the face by an unidentified black male, according to a Richmond County incident report. Deputies found the victim around 5:30 a.m.
