By Ryan Quinn A Charleston high school student was among 104 students nationwide who met with President Barack Obama and several other federal officials in Washington D.C. this month as a part of the United States Senate Youth Program.George Washington High School senior Gene Bailey, along with Cabell Midland High School student Genna Liu, was part of a group of academically excellent student leaders that toured Washington, D.C.-area sites like the Arlington National Cemetery and the Lincoln Memorial, listened to the National Symphony Orchestra perform at the Kennedy Center and returned each night to the historic Mayflower Renaissance Hotel.
