By Paula BurkesBusiness writer pburkes@oklahoman.comEDMOND — Kim Ingmire admits she thought her husband was “nuts” when he suggested that they open a winery on a portion of the 45 acres on which they live at 6000 W Waterloo Road, just east of May Avenue. “He drew it all out on a napkin, and it took off from there,” Ingmire said. Fast forward some 10 years, and Clauren Ridge Vineyard and Winery — which opened in May 2012 — is in full bloom, distributing bottled and canned red and white wines at the winery and to dozens of grocery and convenience stores statewide. Ingmire’s husband, a physician by day, oversees the winemaking.Read more on NewsOK.com
