University of Akron police are looking for a suspect who shot a woman in the foot Thursday night while she was walking on Kirn Street.A silver, late-model Ford Mustang pulled up and someone in the car fired a shot at the woman, who was treated at Summa Akron City Hospital, authorities said.There was no description of the shooter.The incident occurred at 9:05 p.m.After the shooting, the vehicle continued down Kirn, turned east onto Power Street and left the area.Anyone with information is asked to call university police detectives at 330-972-2911.
