Following the box-office success and critical acclaim of last year’s “Barbie” film adaptation — which will further be tested at the Academy Awards on Sunday — promoters at AEG Presents Rocky Mountains on Monday announced a Denver stop for “Barbie the Movie: In Concert.” The 8 p.m., all-ages show on Wednesday, July 17, show at Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre will feature Macy Schmidt and the Barbie Land Sinfoinietta, promoters wrote, as part of the production’s summer North American tour. Orchestrator and music supervisor Macy Schmidt leads the Barbie Sinfonietta in a performance.
