Incumbent U.S. Rep. Republican Randy Hultgren believes the United States must follow the examples of the tax codes in foreign nations attracting American corporations to end the phenomenon of corporate inversion. But his opponent, Democrat Dennis Anderson, believes the real problem is corporations putting too much emphasis on increasing shareholder value rather than reinvesting into the company.
