18-year-old Who Acquired Hepatitis C From His Mom -- A Cop -- Gets $89k From City

An 18-year-old who contracted Hepatitis C while his mother was pregnant with him in the late 1990s will get an $89,000 settlement from the city of Portland. The city acknowledges that the teen got the disease after his mother acquired it while doing drugs and vice work for the Portland Police Bureau.
