2 Former Baseball Razorbacks Selected For Futures Game

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) — Two former University of Arkansas baseball players have been selected to play in the All-Star Futures Game next month. Outfielder Andrew Benintendi and pitcher Ryne Stanek will be a part of the USA Team that will play the World Team on July 10 at Petco Park in San Diego as part of Major League Baseball's All-Star week activities. Benintendi was a first-round draft pick of the Boston Red Sox last year and is currently playing for the Red Sox's Double-A affiliate, the Portland Sea Dogs. Stanek was a first-round pick of Tampa Bay in 2013 and currently is pitching for the Rays' Double-A affiliate, the Montgomery Biscuits.Read more on NewsOK.com
