2 New Bart Railcars Already Sidelined For Maintenance

Two of BART’s new railcars have been sidelined for maintenance in the first few days of service, transit officials said. Ten new railcars, strung together into a single train, were approved to run last week by California’s Public Utilities Commission after months of delays, glitches and a failed inspection in November.
