20,000 Birds Killed In Chicken House Fire

LAUREL, Del. (AP) — Officials say some 20,000 birds were killed in a chicken house fire in Laurel. The State Fire Marshal's Office says the blaze was reported about 5 a.m. Friday on Trap Pond Road. Firefighters from several companies battled the blaze in the 400-foot-long structure. No injuries were reported.
