25-cent Fare Increase Approved For Valley Metro Riders, Effective In January

The board of the Greater Roanoke Transit Co. — the Roanoke Valley's bus system — voted to increase regular bus fares Monday, but passed on making changes to a popular monthly pass for its door-to-door service.
