3 Previous Girlfriends Of Slain Homicide Suspect Met Untimely Deaths

A homicide suspect shot and killed by Sunnyvale police last month had previously been in relationships with three other women who died under suspicious circumstances, officials said. Officers went to the home of Glen Griggs, 53, on the morning of June 5 to serve an arrest warrant related to the disappearance of Molly Franquemont, Griggs' live-in girlfriend who had disappeared more than a year before. When officers confronted Griggs at his house near the corner of North Fair Oaks and East Maude avenues, he refused to open the door, barricading himself in the home and telling police he was armed.
