Alex Boone, an integral part of one of the NFL's most respected offensive lines, will end his protracted contract holdout Monday when he reports to the 49ers with a reworked contract, a league source confirmed. Joe Looney, a 2012 fourth-round pick with no career starts, has assumed Boone's starting spot since his holdout began in the spring. Right tackle Anthony Davis didn't play in the preseason after undergoing shoulder surgery. Running back Glenn Winston and guard Ryan Seymour were signed by the Browns and cornerback Darryl Morris was signed by the Texans. The others were defensive tackle Lawrence Okoye, tight end Asante Cleveland, offensive tackle Carter Bykowski, wide receiver Lance Lewis and nose tackle Mike Purcell.
