56 Injured In Bus Crash

A tour bus crashed near Merrit, British Columbia, about 167 miles (269 km) northeast of Vancouver on Thursday (August 29) injuring 56 people, six critically, local media report. The British Columbia Ambulance service dispatched 19 ground ambulances and six helicopters to transport the patients, according to reports. Officials describe the incident as a single-vehicle accident with only the bus involved.
