A large police contingent will begin enforcing a new 9 p.m. curfew tonight at the Country Club Plaza and four other entertainment districts in Kansas City. The earlier curfew, adopted Thursday, is aimed at preventing a recurrence of the violence that rocked the Plaza last weekend, leaving three wounded teens and the mayor's bodyguards piling on top of him to keep him safe.
