Soft goods are, essentially, curtains and other cloth products used on stage. For example, cloth backdrops, different sorts of drapes, and scrims or see-through drops. Some companies manufacture only the raw materials while others produce finished curtains, and even supply curtain rigging systems and so forth. Therefore there is some overlap with the stage rigging and stage equipment industries.
