The College of Commerce began as the School of Accounting, which was established in 1915 and began classes in 1917. It evolved to the broader College of Commerce in 1943. The mission of the College is: Developing tomorrow's leaders, managers and professional specialists, through teaching, research and service.The College of Commerce offers a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Comm.), a Master of Business Administration (MBA), a Master of Professional (MPAcc), and a Master of Science in Finance, Accounting and Marketing. The U of S is the only university in Canada that offers graduate-level courses designed specifically around Aboriginal business concepts.
