The County of Sturgeon is in the northern region of Alberta and is in the Census Metropolitan Area of Edmonton. It includes the hamlets of Alcomdale, Calahoo, Carbondale, Cardiff, Lamoureux, Mearns, Namao, Pine Sands, Riviere, Qui Barre and Villeneuve, and the towns of Bon Accord, Gibbons, Legal, Morinville and Redwater.
