Krave Maga (Hebrew for Contact Combat) is an Israeli hand to hand military combat and defensive tactics system. Krav-Maga's founder was Imi Lichtenfeld(1910-1998) who started training Israeli defensive forces in the late 1940's. It was 1964 that the system was first introduced to civilians.
