Hours before the start of Wednesday’s A’s-Marlins series finale, the A’s revealed another injury. The team announced it placed right-handed pitcher Bobby Wahl on the 10-day disabled list with a strained right shoulder. The A’s brought up pitcher Zach Neal from Triple-A Nashville to take Wahl’s roster spot. Biceps tendinitis on and off for a little bit, but it really came to a head last night, manager Bob Melvin said of Wahl. Jesse Hahn (strained triceps) and Yonder Alonso (sore wrist) were injured in Tuesday night’s game. A doctor will take a look at him today as well, Melvin said, If we need to make a move, it will not be today. Pitcher Ryan Dull (strained right knee) is not close to returning. The A’s have six players on the disabled list: Last year, the A’s used the DL 27 times with players missing a combined 1,810 games.
