An advanced pipe installation technique is behind a South Georgia Street project that should be approaching its end. By using a method called microtunneling, 2,600 feet of pipe with a diameter of 42 inches would be laid under South Georgia Street from Wolflin Avenue to Southwest 26th Avenue, Senior Project Coordinator David Mullins said.
