Bellevue Chamber of Commerce CEO Joe Fain said recent investments from Amazon and Microsoft in local affordable housing initiatives have renewed pressure on city officials to address the problem. The investments, Fain said, “put pressure on local governments, who sometimes recognize the issue but have so many systems and bureaucracies in place” and “haven’t been able to quickly adapt to the demand.” Still, he said, the Bellevue Chamber doesn’t support additional taxes on big companies…
