Just above the acres and acres of crops such as wheat, cotton or canola, the airplane is used to spray fungicides, herbicides, pesticides and fertilizers. Piloting such an airplane is dangerous work. Since May 30, two Oklahoma pilots have died in crop-dusting airplane crashes.
