Aiken police believe two men recovering from gunshot wounds may have been involved in the same shooting Tuesday evening. Aiken Department of Public Safety officers were called to a shooting at the intersection of Abbeville and Chesterfield streets about 6 p.m. and discovered a man with a gunshot wound sitting in the driver’s seat of a vehicle. While officers were on the scene, they received another call that a shooting victim had arrived at the Aiken Regional Medical Center emergency room. read more
