Aircraft Drop Retardant, Water On Utah Wildfire, But It Keeps Burning

Air Tankers and helicopters on Sunday doused retardant on the forest around southwest Utah’s Saddle Fire, but the blaze grew to 1,234 acres. The bombardment was meant to prevent the fire from moving to the southern face of Saddle Mountain and nearing the town of Pine Valley, according to information from the Dixie National Forest Service.
