WEST CHESTER, Ohio (AP) — AK Steel Holding Corp. (AKS) on Tuesday reported a smaller loss in its second quarter, and topped analysts' expectations. The West Chester, Ohio-based company posted a loss of $17.1 million, or 13 cents per share, compared with a loss of $40.4 million, or 30 cents per share, in the same quarter a year earlier. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 2 cents per share.
