CANTON: Akron radio station 91.3-FM (“The Summit”), has brought its Music Alive program to the Canton City Schools in partnership with the Canton Symphony Orchestra and the Pellegrino Music Center.The Board of Education accepted the donation of 11 instruments when it met Monday.The program collects and refurbishes instruments before donating them to students in need.In other action, the board appointed Joseph Cole as assistant Clarendon Elementary School principal at a salary of $71,033 effective Sept.
