The athletic director from one school said to be courting Wichita State University basketball coach Gregg Marshall spent eight hours in Wichita on Monday, KWCH News reports. The report says Bill Battle of the University of Alabama landed at Jabara Airport at about 10:30 a.m. and left at about 6:30 p.m. CBS Sports has said Marshall is Alabama's top pick to fill a coach vacancy created when Anthony Grant was fired.
