Texas A&M leaders say a new student housing development will bring $600 million into the university over the next three decades without costing A&M a dime. The university is joining forces again with private developers to build the 3,400-bed complex, with rooms ranging from studio apartments to three-bedroom garden-style units, on 48 acres of A&M land. It's the latest - and by far the largest - public-private partnership A&M has launched as leaders there have looked to generate creative cash flow in recent years.
