New Yorkers of the Jewish faith may be able to celebrate the major holiday of Shavuot in synagogue — albeit in a limited capacity with social distancing — during coronavirus pandemic, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Sunday. The governor said he will likely issue guidance Monday or Tuesday on ceremonies for Memorial Day and Shavuot.
