In the final day of testimony Friday in the capital murder trial of Joshua Joyner, yet another juvenile witness who was at the scene of a 2015 shooting admitted lying to sheriff’s investigators before telling a jury what he said was the truth. Nelson, then 19 and also a former Judson student, was shot once through the right arm and chest as he sat in his mother’s Lexus in the parking lot of Elolf Elementary School just outside Converse.
