A reportedly armed and suicidal man was shot and killed by Roy police Tuesday morning. Officers arrived at a Roy home near 3500 W. 5300 South about 4:15 a.m. Tuesday after the man had called a suicide hotline, said Weber County Attorney Dee Smith, whose office is handling the investigation. Officers tried negotiating with the man for several hours, but he had a gun and died after âshots were fired,â Smith said.
