Four families were temporarily displaced from their Waterside apartment building following a suspected arson fire Wednesday night. Firefighters were called to the fire by a neighbor who saw flames coming from an unoccupied ground floor apartment of the six-unit brick building at about 9 p.m. Wednesday. Late Thursday morning the apartment building's property manager Steve Grabowski said someone broke into one of two unoccupied ground floor apartments and disabled a smoke detector before setting the fire. [...] the families are being provided help with emergency housing, food and clothing needs as well as baby items for the affected children, said Paul Shipman, spokesman for the local chapter of the American Red Cross.
