Auditor Finds No Conflicts With N.j. Pension Investment

TRENTON - New Jersey's $15 million investment with a venture capital firm tied to Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker didn't violate pay-to-play laws, even though Baker had contributed $10,000 to the New Jersey GOP months earlier, the state Treasury Department's chief auditor said in a report released Thursday.
