The Jacksonville City Council Auditor found the city’s transportation agency former leader was overpaid by about $130,000 in salary and severance. Irregularities showed up in severance payments to the agency’s former chief financial officer, there were inadequate controls over the storage of public records which could lead to violations of state law, and there were deficiencies in some of the agency’s payroll processes. read more
