Scintillating stuff. Less than a minute after Colorado killed off a penalty, Avalanche right winger Mikko Rantanen scored in overtime Wednesday night at the Pepsi Center for a 3-2 victory to complete a remarkable comeback in Game 4 of their first-round playoff series against the Calgary Flames. The Avalanche rallied from a two-goal deficit in the third period and leads the series 3-1. Game 5 is Friday night at the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary. Boxscore The Avs tied it 2-2 on the power play with just 2:50 left in regulation when Rantanen tipped in Nathan MacKinnon’s fake shot/pass from the left circle.
