ANAHEIM, Calif. — For good reason, goalie Pavel Francouz was among the first Avalanche players off the ice at Honda Center late Friday morning. After signing a two-year, $4 million contract extension Friday, he’s expecting a big weekend workload — as Friday night’s starter against the Ducks and likely also in net Saturday against the Los Angeles Kings. Francouz, who began the season as Philipp Grubauer’s backup, is now the main man with Grubauer out indefinitely with a lower-body injury.
