KINGSPORT — Some of the public housing in Kingsport is infested with bedbugs and residents believe the Kingsport Housing and Redevelopment Authority isn’t doing enough to address the issue.Residents living in at least two of nine properties operated by KHRA say they have bedbugs. One resident said it took six months before KHRA treated her apartment, even after complaining numerous times to management about the issue.“My son is scarred for life,” said the resident, who wished to remain anonymous for fear of being evicted.
