Westbound Interstate 94 was closed at 10 Mile Road in St. Clair Shores for about an hour Sunday morning after a white Ford Explorer rolled over, trapping two occupants. First responders were called to I-94 at Nine Mile Road about 10 a.m. after the Explorer crashed and landed in the center of the freeway.
In an increasingly rare instance of bipartisanship, two Michigan politicians, U. S. Representative Candice Miller, a Republican, and U. S. Senator Debbie Stabenow, a Democrat, have introduced legislation in their respective houses to stop the invasion of Asian carp into the Great Lakes."These fish don't care if you're Democrat or Republican - they're coming," said Miller, discussing along with Stabenow "The Defending the Great Lakes Act" in a conference call with reporters Thursday.
