The average annual rate for the typical single-family household would go from $551 to $576 -- an increase of 4.6 percent or $2.11 a month, according to a city staff report.

Armed suspects posed as delivery drivers to break in and rob a family home in Aurora on Wednesday, police said Friday. The suspects were dressed in construction vests and claimed they were there to deliver a package, according to a statement from the Aurora Police Department. They waited for the homeowners to open the door before forcing their way in and robbing the family. Police say the incident happened about 8:45 p.m.
