Hinch has decided he likes breaking up the right-handed George Springer, Jose Altuve and Carlos Correa with a left-handed hitter in the No. 2 spot, which is usually occupied by Josh Reddick. Despite Reddick being off Saturday with the lefty Snell starting for Tampa Bay, Hinch still wanted the switch-hitting Beltran batting second for when the Rays go to their bullpen, which doesn't feature a lefthander.
