WRIGHT TWP. — Berwick will certainly be a huge underdog come Friday against undefeated Nanticoke. The Dawgs, though, will certainly remember how they made it to that District 2 Class 4A softball quarterfinal game because Tuesday’s 7-5 first-round victory over Crestwood was quite memorable. Berwick tacked on two runs in the seventh on a pair of ground-rule doubles despite having two players called out for getting hit with batted balls in the inning.
