Penn State linebacker Brandon Smith was ejected in Saturday’s loss at Michigan on a targeting call, a decision that the Big Ten said Wednesday was incorrect. Smith tried to cut in front of Michigan receiver Grant Perry at the goal line for an interception on a low throw.
