Beaumont ISD has submitted its appeal of Texas Education Commissioner Michael Williams' decision to remove Superintendent Timothy Chargois and replace the school board with a board of managers. The appeal hearing and record review process by TEA staff not involved in the BISD investigation will take about a month to complete.
