TOLEDO (AP) — The Catholic Diocese of Toledo faces “serious financial challenges” that will require the sale of diocese assets and other changes, the bishop told parishioners in a recent letter. Bishop Daniel Thomas said the concerns are at the diocesan level — not parishes — and changes will start with its administrative offices, The Blade newspaper (http://bit.ly/1MP68kA) reported.
