Black Panther ruled the domestic box office for a fifth week in a row, something no MCU movie has done before, and a benchmark a movie has not achieved since 2009. Black Panther's estimated $27 million weekend earned the Marvel Cinematic Universe's latest entry the No. 1 spot yet again at the box office, becoming the first film to do so since Avatar in 2009.
