Super Bowl Thank You

As Super Bowl Sunday looms nearby, I am reminded of the frenzy surrounding sports and the main day. I am not a sports fan but my significant other is. This is probably a typical scenario in a lot of households where the husband loves and enjoys his sports and the wife is just a bystander. And, there is probably nothing more perfect than a beer and watching a sports game on TV, while the wife is busy preparing dinner. What the Big day doesn’t focus on is what the wife is doing so the husband and his friends could enjoy the game and festivities. So, today, I’d like to call your attention to the hard work put in by the many wives, girlfriends and significant others who made it possible for you to sit and enjoy that cold beer and cheer for your favorite team or commercial. If nothing else, give them a big thank you before you slink into your comfy chair and tune the rest of the world out.
